PRESENTATION

This recently digitalised exhibition, was created in 1989 by the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes [Institute of Catalan Letters]. It toured until 1996, when it was permanently dismantled after having visited twenty-nine cities including Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, Göteborg, Helsinki, London, Montreal, Moscow, Oxford, Paris, Venice, Vienna and Zurich.
Using the graphic and written material from the original exhibition "800 Years of Catalan Literature", this multilingual, digital introduction to literature has been created. It forms part of the project "Towards Frankfurt '07", in which Catalonia will be the guest of honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
